Shipping Policy
Shipping Policy
Effective date: September 24, 2026
This Shipping Policy provides information about the processing, shipment, and delivery of Products purchased through the Spectricity webshop.
This Policy applies to Orders placed through the Spectricity webshop unless otherwise agreed in writing by Spectricity.
1. Shipping Origin
Products purchased through the Spectricity webshop are shipped from Belgium.
2. Shipping Destinations
Spectricity offers international shipping to supported destinations worldwide, subject to applicable export controls, sanctions, carrier restrictions and other legal or logistical requirements.
Spectricity does not ship to destinations that are restricted or unsupported by the webshop, applicable carriers, payment providers or applicable laws and regulations.
Orders may also be rejected, suspended or cancelled where Spectricity determines that the destination, end user or intended use creates an export-control, sanctions, compliance or other legal risk.
For further information regarding export controls and sanctions, please refer to Spectricity’s Terms of Service.
3. Shipping Costs
Standard international shipping to the delivery destination is included in the Product price unless otherwise expressly stated in the webshop, Order confirmation, or another written agreement with Spectricity.
The included shipping cost does not include import duties, import VAT, customs-clearance charges, brokerage fees, local taxes or other charges imposed in the destination country.
Additional charges may apply where the Customer requests a non-standard delivery arrangement or service, and Spectricity agrees to such request.
Additional shipping or handling costs resulting from incorrect Customer information, failed delivery, refusal of delivery or failure to complete import clearance may be charged to the Customer.
4. Order Processing
Orders are normally processed within 3 to 5 business days after:
• Spectricity has accepted the Order;
• Payment has been received and confirmed; and
• Any required customer, end-user, destination, or compliance review has been completed.
Processing times are estimates and may vary due to Product availability, payment verification, export or compliance review, Customer information requirements, public holidays, or other circumstances.
For Products offered for pre-order, the estimated availability or shipping date stated on the relevant product page, Order confirmation, or other communication from Spectricity will apply instead of the standard processing period.
5. Shipping and Delivery Terms
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, international Orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) Incoterms® 2020 to the delivery address accepted by Spectricity.
Spectricity will arrange and pay for transportation of the Products to the agreed delivery destination. The Customer is responsible for import clearance and for all applicable:
• Import duties;
• Import VAT and other taxes;
• Customs-clearance charges;
• Brokerage fees;
• Import permits, registrations or authorisations; and
• Other charges or requirements imposed in the destination country.
The Customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete information required for customs clearance and importation.
6. Carriers and Shipping Methods
Spectricity may select the carrier and shipping method used to fulfil an Order.
The carrier and shipping method may vary depending on the destination, Product, shipment characteristics, carrier availability and other logistical considerations.
Any request for a specific carrier, shipping service or other special delivery arrangement is subject to Spectricity’s prior approval and may result in additional charges.
7. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
Once an Order has been shipped, the Customer will receive a shipping confirmation at the email address provided with the Order.
Where tracking is available, the shipping confirmation will include a tracking number or link that can be used to follow the shipment.
Tracking information is provided by the applicable carrier and may take time to become available or update after shipment.
8. Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed delivery dates. A carrier or customs delay does not give the Customer a right to cancel an accepted Order or obtain a refund, except where required by applicable law.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on the destination, carrier, customs clearance, import requirements, and other circumstances outside Spectricity’s reasonable control.
Spectricity is not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, carriers, incorrect or incomplete Customer information, import restrictions, regulatory requirements, force majeure events or other circumstances outside Spectricity’s reasonable control.
If Spectricity becomes aware of a material delay affecting an Order, Spectricity will use reasonable efforts to inform the Customer.
9. Customs and Import Requirements
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the Products may lawfully be imported into and used in the destination country.
The Customer must provide any information or documentation reasonably required for customs clearance or importation.
If a shipment cannot be delivered because the Customer fails to complete import clearance, pay applicable duties, taxes, or fees, provide required information or documentation, or otherwise comply with applicable import requirements, the Customer may be responsible for any resulting storage, return shipping, customs, handling, or other reasonable costs.
10. Delivery Address and Customer Information
When submitting an Order, Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, recipient name, telephone number, and other information required for delivery and customs clearance.
Customers should contact support@spectricity.com as soon as possible if delivery information needs to be corrected after an Order has been placed.
Spectricity cannot guarantee that a delivery address can be changed after an Order has been processed or shipped.
The Customer may be responsible for additional shipping, storage, customs or handling costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the Customer.
11. Risk of Loss or Damage
Risk of loss of or damage to the Products transfers in accordance with the applicable agreed delivery term, including DAP Incoterms® 2020 where applicable.
12. Damaged, Missing or Incorrect Shipments
Customers should inspect the shipment and Products promptly after delivery.
Visible shipping damage, missing items, incorrect Products or other apparent delivery issues should be reported to support@spectricity.com within 7 calendar days after delivery.
Customers should retain the Product, shipping carton, labels and packaging materials and provide photographs or other information reasonably requested by Spectricity.
Where Spectricity confirms that an incorrect Product was shipped or that an item was missing due to an error by Spectricity, Spectricity will arrange an appropriate remedy and bear the reasonable shipping costs associated with correcting the error.
Claims relating to defective Products are handled in accordance with Spectricity’s applicable warranty terms.
13. Undeliverable or Refused Shipments
If a shipment cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address, the Customer’s failure to complete import clearance, non-payment of destination-country charges, refusal of delivery or another circumstance attributable to the Customer, the shipment may be returned to Spectricity.
Such a return does not constitute an authorised cancellation or entitle the Customer to a refund.
The Customer may be responsible for reasonable return, storage, customs, handling and redelivery costs. Spectricity may require payment of these costs before arranging redelivery.
14. Lost Shipments
If tracking information indicates that a shipment may be lost, Spectricity will investigate the shipment with the carrier. A replacement or other remedy will be provided only after the carrier investigation or other reasonable verification has been completed.
A delayed shipment is not considered lost unless confirmed by the carrier or otherwise determined by Spectricity.
15. Authorised Returns
Products may be returned only with Spectricity’s prior written authorisation in connection with:
• A potential claim under an applicable Limited Warranty;
• Shipping damage;
• An incorrect or incomplete shipment; or
• Another remedy expressly approved by Spectricity.
Spectricity does not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges.
Authorised returns, return shipping costs, and any applicable remedies are governed by the Refund Policy and Terms of Service.
